| description | Abstract: Real estate markets have been researched and well documented in volumes of literature. Among all the segmentations of the housing marketing, this paper will empirically investigate the price mechanism, especially in the case of China. The purpose of this study is to evaluate all the possible factors that influence the housing price, particularly with respect to China, which include demand-and supply, housing market speculation, and the development of the housing rental market. Through the multiple regression linear model, the results demonstrate diverse relationship between the housing price and its variables. The findings have shown that the demand-side factors have more significant impact on the housing price while there are still some extraordinary results come out. This paper may be of interest to researchers who devote to the real estate market development in the populous regions, and those who research in the area of contemporary Chinese study. |
