Description
Summary:Abstract: Stakeholder theory is considered within a corporate social responsibility context and applied to the motorway service industry. The application is focused on a specific case study site; Hopwood Park. Stakeholder salience model is considered within the identification of stakeholders of the site. A range of methodologies are then used and tested to engage within four specific stakeholder groups; employees, customers, community and the environment. Engagements allow understanding of concerns and issues regarding the market and nonmarket practices of Hopwood Park. The research is considered within a framework of the current debate on the future of the transport infrastructure within the UK.
