The Gems and Jewelry Industry has also witnessed such a trend, where major business from India shifted to China. Thus, the purpose of this research is to understand the reasons for the growth of China as a major producer and how it is a benchmark for Indian businesses. The literature review describes the overall Chinese economy and factors affecting its growth whether positively or negative. For this purpose of research, qualitative research methodology has been chosen. The researcher has taken interviews in order to understand and satisfy the aims and objectives of this research. The results from the interviews have been discussed and analyzed by dividing them into various themes based on the literature review. Lastly, the concluding thoughts of this study discuss the limitations and recommendations.
