| Summary: | Accompany with the growth of venture capital and private equity industry in China since 1980s, fund placement agent (FPA), a kind of firms which aim to make a bridge between general partners and limited partners at fundraising process have appear in the China market, this services was initially start from Western, and played an successful role in Western fundraising market until now (for example, US and UK). This study aim to explore and make a comprehensive understanding about the fundraising placement agent in China by conducing a quantitative research, including China fund placement agent services process and the challenging they faced with market, their performance and drawbacks will also been discussed.
