Description
Summary:Continuous improvements in technology are resulting in a growing number of new imaging diagnostic tests that combine accuracy and speed bundled together, fuelled by the extensive use of computers in this digital era of computing. Though mammography is the traditional method employed in breast screening, new techniques like infrared imaging technology are being evolved to diagnose the cancerous growth. The purpose of this dissertation is to propose and critically evaluate a business strategy for a local Singaporean company, Strategic Resource Centre and Solution (SRC) to market medical equipment used for early detection of breast cancer, which today is the number one killer amongst women. The research will concentrate on providing innovative solutions and guidance to market penetration in attaining competitive advantage for the business.
