| description | In the regression analysis, the coefficient that was found to be significant for certain variables i.e. wages and exports. These two variables significantly influenced the manufacturing growth in Malaysia. Besides, the results also suggest that increasing the export growth, wages growth, asset growth, foreign direct investment growth and per capital income growth will increase the growth of the manufacturing sector in Malaysia, whereas the world economic growth and asset growth with the manufacturing growth is negative. It was found that an increse of the world economic growth would not necessary have a direct impact on the manufacturing sector industry although it might be increase growth in other sectors. |
