Abstract The traditional and modern stories have exuberantly depicted various forms of the Angels (MalÉ´ikah). Consequently, there are dichotomous views and opinions among writers, criticizers and scholars as regards the manifestation of Angels. Therefore, this study attempts to reveal the various aspects of axiomatic beliefs manifested on MalÉ´ikah in the legends, epics and the stories written in Arabic and renovation of their styles in the contemporary Arabic novels. The study also attempts to explore the real doctrines of holy Qur´Én and prophetic traditions regarding such beliefs so as to obtain the criteria by which the ideal personality of MalÉ´ikah must be depicted in the art of story writing. |
