| Summary: | This study examines the (the election of Board of Directors for Shareholding Company and its membership conditions in Bahraini Law and Islamic Law). The objective of research is to enhance the performance of Board of Directors through the applying of governance rules. The research defined the concept of Shareholding Company and its governance. Then he discussed the provision of election of directors. After that, he presented the conditions for membership of Board of Directors. Finally, he shaded lights on the stand of Islamic Law from the way of election of Board of Directors. The study found that the way of choosing Directors is in compliance with Islamic Law.
