يحاول هذا البحث تحري مصداقية ما ورد في كتب التراث الإسلامي حول الامتناع عن تقليد النساء مناصب قيادية، وذلك من خلال محورين؛ الأول استقراء الآيات القرآنية ذات العلاقة، والثاني استعراض سير نساء اتخذن مواقف قيادية في الحياة السياسية في عهد الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، والصحابة والتابعين، وتابعي التابعين....
