We aimed to describe the plasma PK of piperacillin and its associated penetration into interstitial fluid (ISF) of subcutaneous tissue. We also sought to describe risk factors for not achieving PK/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) targets in critically ill patients with sepsis.
