The paper also argues that international terrorism cannot be wiped out by means of unilateral use of force against a State in the name of self-defence. Unilateralism may lead to subjectivity, selectivity, double standard and injustice.
The paper concludes that multilateralism is the most appropriate way to combat international terrorism and that the latter can be effectively dealt with by coordinated and comprehensive law enforcement measures through proper international bodies, like the UN Security Council, and through appropriate regional organizations.
