A Geometric Approach to 3D Fault Identification

We use the geometric framework to investigate the problem of fault detection and isolation for 3D Fornasini-Marchesini models. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the solvability of this problem, and constructive methods to design observers for fault detection and identification.
