| Summary: | A novel Nanocomposite Hydrogel was developed, modified and characterized for the application of profile modification in chemical enhanced oil recovery. The developed Nanocomposite hydrogel was evaluated in core flooding experiments designed to simulate fractured reservoir conditions. Results demonstrated an average recovery improvement of 12.71%. The findings confirmed their potential for efficient profile modification, providing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for enhancing oil recovery from mature reservoirs, addressing the world’s increasing need for energy. |
