| Summary: | Large civil engineering construction contractors’ internal tendering procedures and associated governance is predominantly based on experiential learning, instead of empirical research, as utilisation of such sensitive and confidential material remains restricted. Unprecedented access to large civil contractors’ commercially sensitive procedures, found these tendering procedures and approval processes to be overly complex and inefficient. This research developed a Recommended Internal Framework for Tendering to reduce process duplication, thereby improving tendering governance efficiency and effectiveness. |
