| Summary: | The analytical performances of miniaturized ITIES and solid supported ITIES (interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions) were utilized for the characterization of biomolecules especially for those proteins which are regarded as indicators for disease diagnosis. Particularly, glucose oxidase (a model enzyme), catalase (an enzymatic disease indicator), trypsin and pepsin (two digestive enzymes) at micro-scale liquid|liquid interface, and protein detection capability across the thin layer membrane deposited onto solid electrode were investigated. |
