Summary:The research focused on renewable energy storage using hydrogen-rich materials. These materials can store thermochemical heat energy used as thermal batteries in concentrated solar power plants. High-temperature metal hydrides have been identified as the next-generation thermal batteries for concentrated solar power plants. They have higher energy densities than conventional energy storage materials such as molten salts. I believe our research's innovative and multifaceted approach can provide enhanced green energy production and hence reduce CO2 emissions.
