| Summary: | In 2021, a cross-cultural team of Nyungar Elders, spatial professionals and artists came together to create a hand painted map which a visualised the cultural knowledges of a key group of Whadjuk Noongar Elders. This book is a visual and written record of the Mapping Walyalup process. It prioritises the directions and words of Elders through using extensive quotes and pictures of key moments and outcomes of collaborative sessions. It shares Noongar perspectives and knowledge of Wadjuk Country Perth centred on Walyalup Fremantle that is culturally safe for all those who work, live in and visit Walyalup Fremantle.
