| Summary: | This study examines the adoption and impact of Conservation agriculture (CA) on maize farming households in Timor-Leste. The study looked at the impact of CA on maize productivity, farmers’ income and labour use. Data were gathered through survey of 465 farmers in two municipalities (Manufahi and Manatuto) in Timor-Leste using random sampling. Results showed that CA adoption has significantly increased maize yield and income than the non-adopters. Labour use was lower, but not significantly. |
