Summary:Phosphorus is an essential macronutrient for plants growth, but it tends to form complexes with aluminium which limits the plant intake. Hence, phosphate solubilizing microorganisms (PSMs) serve as an alternative to solubilize and mineralize insoluble phosphate complexes. Staphylococcus haemolyticus was isolated and encapsulated in alginate microbeads by using the impinging aerosol method. This study also aimed to develop a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model that could describe the impinging aerosol application.
