| Summary: | Although social sustainability is one of the main ‘pillars’ of sustainable development, approaches and studies that identify its inadequacies and ways in which they can be mitigated to meet ISO 26000 are scarce. Employing AHP integrated QFD modelling, the study determines optimised strategies to efficiently mitigate the social value requirements for social sustainability. The research findings suggest that implementation of the optimal strategies would have a significant impact on sustainability outcomes and on business performances. |
