| Summary: | This project examines economic questions that are of interest to WA. It analyses trends in production and consumption of natural gas and oil in the Asia Pacific region and worldwide. It also investigates how technological advancements for development of unconventional gas and oil resources (such as gas/oil from tight and shale formations) have affected global trade patterns and the economic development of gas resources in Australia. The project aims at producing findings that can be used by policy makers and industry participants in Australia. The findings will be published in a major BCEC marquee and encompass research collaborations within the group of experts the investigators. |
