Description
Summary:Driven by the desire of low cost and green synthesis, this study focuses on the preparation of large-surface-area porous carbons with controllable features (e.g. N or N, S doping, cobalt modification), using cheaper carbon precursors. The resulting porous-carbon-based nanoarchitectures can serve as excellent adsorbents and efficient catalysts in advanced oxidation processes for effective removal of pollutants in wastewater, as well as materials for CO2 uptake, supercapacitors and oxygen reduction reaction.
