| Summary: | Uniform and highly ordered TiO2 nano-fibers were synthesized using anodic oxidation of Ti foils. The crystallization and crystal growth of TiO2 nano-fiber arrays were characterized using in-situ synchrotron radiation diffraction at the temperature range 25–700 °C. The anodized TiO2 was initially amorphous but crystallized to anatase at ~400 °C and to rutile at ~550–600 °C. The time of anodization has no influence on crystal growth and has an appreciable affect on the fraction of anatase-to-rutile transformation. |
