Description
Summary:Persistent pain post-total knee replacement (TKR) surgery may be due to either a pre-existing pain condition or ‘new’ pain after TKR. There is currently no standardised method of accurately predicting who will develop this condition. The findings of this clinical doctorate research provide the basis for the development of a standardised protocol for predicting the type of patients who are likely to develop persistent post-operative pain prior to undertaking total knee replacement.
