| Summary: | This study created novel electrospun hybrid nanocomposite fibre mats from a variety of advanced materials. The impact of adding pure and impure magnetic nanoparticles and also modified and unmodified halloysite nanotubes to poly(lactic acid): poly(ε-caprolactone) blends on the solution viscosity, electrical conductivity, morphology, crystallinity, thermal properties, connecting bonds and drug release kinetics was studied. Evidently, loading drug into polymer/halloysite nanotube composite fibres reduced the drug release and overcame the weakness of interaction between the polymer and drug.
