Summary:Australian innovation is driven by policies promoting university, industry and government cooperation. The success of such cooperation for regional and sustainable development in light of the triple helix model was measured at CRC, SME and regional levels. Particularly in CRC-based activities it was determined that greater stakeholder involvement in the form of government, university, NGO and industry strategist input on the practicality of these models would lead to improved business and academic productivity.
