| Summary: | A minority of people at risk poor health related outcomes following bereavement require assessment using sensitive and reliable grief measures to provide appropriate support. This study aimed to develop a bereavement risk assessment model for use in palliative care using an Action Research methodology to work collaboratively with palliative care stakeholders across five phases. Existing grief measures were found unsuitable and a new brief grief measure was developed that was piloted and evaluated in three palliative care services. |
