Description
Summary:Making construals is a practical approach to computing that was originally developed for and by computer science undergraduates. It is the central theme of an EU project aimed at disseminating the relevant principles to a broader audience. This involves bringing together technical experts in making construals and international experts in educational technology in organising wide-ranging learning activities. This paper, which complements the tutorial and discussion on making construals in (Beynon et al. 2015a, 2015b), documents issues that arise from this encounter. Its central argument is that making construals offers a significant new contribution to educational technology.
