Description
Summary:Co/HZSM-5, Fe/HZSM-5 and Co-Fe/HZSM-5 catalysts are prepared by impregnation method using HZSM-5 as support. The prepared catalysts are then characterized by XRD, BET, SEM and TG. Taking the mixtures of acetic acid, ethylene glycol, phenol and acetone as model compound of hybrid bio-oil, the influences of catalysts, temperature, the ratio of steam to carbon and weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) on the hydrogen production through catalytic steam reformation of the model compounds are investigated over Co-Fe/HZSM-5 catalyst in fixed bed reactor. The results indicate that the hydrogen yield reaches the maximum value, about 57% when Co-Fe/HZSM-5 catalyst is used, temperature is 650?, S/C is 10, WHSV is 2 h -1 .
