Description
Summary:This thesis proposes a design science research content representation and summarisation architecture (DSRCRSA). The DSRCRSA is designed to store conceptualisations of DSR publications and to generate single and multi-document summaries. Two design principles have emerged: the use of semiotic layers in formal ontologies and the use of complex classes to describe concepts at each semiotic layer. The evaluation shows that the DSRCRSA can generate summaries that fulfil the 5Cs (conciseness, comprehensiveness, coherence, clarity, and correctness).
