description This research performs extensive experimental and computational studies on natural gas hydrates with MEG and other ingredients by utilising the PVT cell, autoclave and MEG pilot facility. The research investigated; the influence of thermally degraded MEG with corrosion inhibitors on gas hydrate kinetics, the influence of regenerated and reclaimed MEG on gas hydrate kinetics, analytical techniques for analysing thermally degraded MEG with corrosion inhibitors, and gas hydrate in gas-lift system. Conclusions and recommendations are provided.
