| Summary: | This research uses Health Impact Assessment methodology to identifying future health impacts of climate change by 2030 to a rural area in Western Australia called the Blackwood Stirling region. This mixed method qualitative research identifies potential health impacts, vulnerability and residual harm from climatic factors. Barriers to effective adaptation for government, industry and communities are examined. Cost effective anticipatory adaptation provides multiple benefits to address risks associated with likely climate change. |
