description Posthumanism understands the human body to be in a state of constant becoming. It is in flux with its environment and hybridized with its technologies. Bodies are simultaneously fluid and contained, by environmental and technological pressures. Blender blurs the boundaries of the human body by mixing bodily material obtained by liposuction from the two artists in a sealed, pneumatically actuated machine system. The installation becomes a host for a blended liquid body. The work interrogates the increasingly diffuse and perverse relationship of bodies and technology. The installation was included in a group exhibition of contemporary Korean and Australian art at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney
