Description
Summary:We propose indicators for evaluation of e-environment and evaluation of ICT competences. We analyse data gathered from the research, which was conducted in several European and non-European universities joined in the 7RP project IRNet. One part of the survey was focused on identifying the ways students' use IT tools available in the e-environments of the universities and outlining possible ways for improving educational interactions in a network learning community. We tried to find groups of respondents, which differed in their answers to the questionnaire. We tried to discover knowledge and characterise universities based on the survey results. The most important questions identified in decision rules divide the respondents of the questionnaire into EU students and non-EU students' groups. We found some differences between answers of students which belong to each of these groups. This case study provided an example of further analysis of the survey conducted in several participating countries.
