| Summary: | The chapter comprises of three sections. Firstly, a review of Indigenous Leadership in a Australian context, which includes both Aboriginal People and Torres Strait Islanders, where the working 'aboriginal People' is used, reference is made only to Aboriginal people. Secondly the chapter includes an overview of Indigenous Women in Leadership in Different settings and the enablers and barriers to women's leadership. Thirdly, Mayi Harvest, a wholly Aboriginal owned small business located in the Kimberley region which produces by products made from locally grown fruits is detailed. Each of the three components highlight the cultural relevance in both leadership and business management, challenges and barriers in leadership and business development as well as the factors that contribute to a sustainable and successful leadership framework.
