The mechanism and kinetics of DTPA-promoted dissolution of barite
The dissolution rate of natural barite, BaSO4, was measured in solutions of DTPA (diethylene triamine penta-acetic acid) to investigate the mechanism of ligand-promoted dissolution using a strong chelating agent.
