Description
Summary:Boya House Section: Our house, on a sloping site in Boya, is set among granite outcrops and xanthoreas, shaded by wandoo and sheok trees. From the escarpment are glimpses of the city 20km to the west. North across the valley are views of the bush. The house is a place to live and work, a place to build and test. Its materials are old and new. The house begins with a wall. The wall defines and holds. It creates order. The rooms of the house are a slippage of spaces that zigzag around trees. They are negotiated spaces, flowing from one to the other from interior to exterior.
