Results suggest that journals that are considered “top tier” in tourism and hospitality have remained relatively constant over the years. However, there is little consistency among the rankings of journals beyond the top journals in both fields. Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, and Journal of Travel Research are found to be top journals in the field of tourism while International Journal of Hospitality Management and Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research are identified as the top journals in the field of hospitality |
