| Summary: | The thesis “Migrants and Nature” brings together two globalized movements: the movement of people and the environmental movement. It offers a rich consideration of the values, practices and structures that the relationship between migrants and nature brings. I argue that migrants are empowered in a degree and in character by environmental activism. As such they have the potential to determine social and partial outcomes in the allocation of the rights to the natural environment. |
