| Summary: | The main objective of this research is to develop a model of tourism firms' adaptation to environmental turbulence in Libya. The characteristics of emerging economies and turbulent environments are examined to discover how they do impact the Libyan tourism sector. The study seeks to explore whether institutional changes alleviate the effects of such characteristics. Tourism firms’ responses during and post-civil war periods are examined to develop an understanding of the effectiveness of firms’ responses. |
