Complementary plant nutrient-acquisition strategies promote growth of neighbour species
Greater understanding of positive interspecific interactions in nutrient-poor soils is a priority, particularly in phosphorus (P)-limited ecosystems where plants with contrasting nutrient-acquiring strategies co-occur.
