description This paper discusses B2E portals, an important e-business model adopted by large organisations to service its employees. To understand the factors affecting the adoption of B2E portals, this paper includes the development of an instrument from literature analysis, application of Information Systems theories, a research model and factors affecting the use of B2E portals by using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Seven important factors affecting the adoption of B2E portals highlighted in this paper include: ease of use; usefulness; compatibility; motivation; helpdesk; organisation support and attitude.
