Distribution of MSCRAMMs and exotoxins, and potential of anti-IL6 and anti IL6-receptor antibodies on mortality of infected mice was determined. Biofilm-embedded S. aureus vaccine offered better protection against mammary tissue damage than the planktonic vaccine.
