Description
Summary:Metal-free graphitic carbon nitride ( g− C3N4 ) currently shows good photocatalytic performances in water splitting and wastewater remediation. In my research, g− C3N4 was modified through different techniques for the enhanced photocatalytic activity in degradation of organic pollutants (Methylene blue, phenol, sulfachloropyridazine) under different radiation sources. The modifications could enlarge its spectrum absorption, increase surface area, suppress electronic pair recombination, increase the activity of free electron for e-/h+charge, and enhance the generation of superoxide radicals in water.
