This reviews based on their methods and results were obtained to study how to analyze and present the data also to find any gap in this study. Besides, the propagation of radio signals transmitted from base stations and the estimation of exposure levels by considering the specification of fhe antennas installed and area of the base stations itself were reviewed. Previous studies selected based title, techniques of signal strength measurement such as distance from the base station, the type of equipment used to record the signal strength and the specifications of antennas used. It was found that the study of EM radiation exposure conducted in other countries is more advances than the study conducted in Malaysia. There are differences between the study from other countries and study in Malaysia by identifying their the methods, results and techniques of data presentation. Based on the review that has been made, no study that has been conducted in Malaysia using the GIS as the medium for presents their findings.
