The emergence of Hamas in the government has changed the landscape in the Palestinian administration, as well as introducing several new concepts derived from the perspective of Islamic administration. Hamas Islamic approach incorporates Islamic principles at all levels of management and administration in accordance with the current state of Palestine. However, the approach taken by Hamas movement has given rise to various administration and management crisis, especially in Gaza. The aim of this study is to identify the extent to which Hamas has employed the principles of Islamic management in the Gaza Strip 2006-2013. This research used descriptive analysis. The respondents were selected using stratified random sampling and questionnaires were distributed to the three levels of post-holders - middle, low and general staff - of the public administration at the ministry in charge of the Gaza Strip. The subjects of the study comprised 340 staff chosen from 2682 workers across the study area. The study found that the use of the principles of Islamic management by the Hamas administration in the Gaza Strip stood at 70 percent. The study also showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the average scores of respondents regarding the extent to which the principles of Islamic management used based on variables (gender, age, political affiliation, position, level of education and years of service). The study also found that there are statistically significant differences in the practice of best examples among the study population according to the position in which respondents with ranks of "general manager" and "department director" practice the principle of best examples more in the administration in comparison to other respondents of other ranks. There was also a statistically significant difference in the principle of obliged participation amongst respondents according to education level. Respondents with 'Masters' education level practice the principle of obliged participation in the administration of the ministry in the Gaza Strip more than respondents with only a "Bachelor’s Degree". The study found that there was no significant difference on the challenges faced in implementing the principles of Islamic management in a different aspect from the point of view of the respondents in the study variables. Furthermore, this study also found that there was no statistically significant difference regarding the obstacles encountered in implementing the principles of Islamic management. This study suggests that it is necessary to adopt, publish and disseminate Islamic management principles such as "the principles of Shura, justice and equality, shared responsibility, empowerment, open policy, the best example and supervision in life practices ". There is also a need to restructure the system of administration of Palestine in accordance with the management system of Islam. In addition, concerted efforts of all government institutions and civil society should be intensified to create an organizational culture that encourages the use of Islamic management principles in Palestine.
