The organization can implement various approaches to ensure the HRM continues to be competitive and adapts to new changes and challenges. Therefore, the main purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of HRM practices such as selection, training, appraisal, reward, job design, involvement and status and security on job performance among Terengganu State Secretary Office civil servants. Consequently, this study has integrated The Guest Model to map and position the possible relationships between the variables in the research framework. The model was selected based on the current practices and procedures of public services. This study utilise a survey questionnaire which had been distributed to the 262 employees from support group of Terengganu State Secretary Office using stratified random sampling method. A total of 232 completed questionnaires were collected and analysed using Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) Software Version 25. A descriptive statistic, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to analyse the relationship between the related variables in the study. The final results have been revealed the selection, training and status as well as security were significantly correlated with the job performance.
