Thus, the image of these religious sites is an essential element for the progression of tourism destinations in Jordan. Although previous studies mainly focused on Jordan’s image as a religious tourism destination on a global and domestic scale, no one has yet explored the nation’s image as one of the most important holy sites for pilgrims or visitors of the Christian faith. This study examines the effects of the Christian population’s arrival to Jordan and the nation’s reputation as a destination of Christian religious sites alongside religious tourism image in Jordan in the context of visitors internationally. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative methodology, whereas the interview process and questionnaire distribution co-occur. A total of 384 questionnaires have been collected from the respondents in the surveyed location the baptism, Mount Nebo, our Lady of mount church, Tal Mar Alias, and Mukawir, and 6 interviews have engaged with the location supervisor, priest, church servant, managing director, and tourists guides at the same sites. The study results have shown that there are several discriminations between religious and non-religious tourists. It is empirically confirmed that the destinations recognized as the actual image of religious holy sites in Jordan have become one of the main tourist destination points for Christian followers across the globe, especially in the context of lucrative global marketing perspective. The findings also validate that most of the respondents had cogent knowledge regarding the characteristics and significance of the religious sites as they deemed the religious sites to hold an important image as a tourist destination. Importantly, these results are more agreed on by religious tourists than non-religious tourists where they visit such places to worship and reconnect themselves with their ancient common heritage. The social life in these holy sites, the quality of tourist guides, the hospitality, and cleanliness also contribute to a better image; it also shows the strengths and opportunities for religious tourism. However, a negative image also exists regarding accessibility, entrance fees, parking, accommodation, transportation, and signs to the holy sites with the image weakness and threats. Religious tourism has proven that as an activity, it has a uniqueness of its own.
