Changes in learning during the pandemic have had an impact on students. Psychologically, the impact is anxiety and decreased learning interest among students. Anxiety and learning interest are often affected when there are changes in teaching and learning methods, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this study aims to identify the student's anxiety and learning interests level towards online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at Hamzanwadi University and to investigate the difference between students’ anxiety and students learning interests level during the COVID-19 pandemic at Hamzanwadi University based on academic achievement and gender. This study was in the form of descriptive and used quantitative methods. The total sampling method was used in this study. The study involved 108 students consisting of 33 male and 75 female students from a total population of 108 students. Collecting data using research questions forms anxiety and learning interest resulting from the theory. The procedure for data analysis applied descriptive analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and t-test. The study results suggested that anxiety occurred in research in three aspects, namely behavior, cognitive, and feelings which were high as well as learning interest. Students experienced a high learning interest decreasing in three aspects; enthusiasm, intention, and desire. The ANOVA analysis suggested differences in anxiety between students with high, medium, and low GPAs, whereas the t-test analysis suggested anxiety differences between male and female students. As evidence of the favorable outcome of this study, other reviewers may conduct other studies in the future. Furthermore, studies on anxiety and learning interest in university students. The findings of this study also open up the most possibilities for further and in-depth research to identify other modifiers that can improve the quality of education in Indonesia. 254 Faith (Islam) Dissertations, Academic Islamic apologetics Islamic scholars—Yemen—Biography Islamic theology—Methodology Bālifaqīh, ʻAbd al-Raḥmān—Criticism and interpretation Revealed religion (Islam) Islamic dogmatics—Sources Thesis
