This paper was designed to determine the level of awareness among administrative staff of Public Higher Learning Institutions in Terengganu. The institutions selected are Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Dungun about the Family takaful plan. The Takaful operators implemented various Takaful products to meet the needs of policyholders. The objectives of this study are to examine the significant influence of attitude, subjective norms, and product knowledge on awareness of the family Takaful plan. To achieve all these objectives, a set of questionnaires that contains 28 items were used and divided into 5 five sections. This study involved 101 respondents of administrative staff from UniSZA, UMT, and Uitm Dungun. Reliability tests, ANOVA, correlation analyses, and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The findings show that attitude, subjective norms, and product knowledge had a significant relationship with awareness. Meanwhile, the regression analysis shows that all factors influenced the awareness of the family Takaful plan. Thus, the results of these findings provide valuable insights and fill gaps in the family Takaful literature. In the meantime, this study contributes benefits for the Takaful companies on how to surge family Takaful plan penetration. Finally, future research should involve administrative staff from other states and institutions in Malaysia to obtain a better result. Dissertations, Academic Thesis |
